One of the reasons I love living in southern California…after six straight days of rain, today was sunny, 70′s and the world felt fresh and revitalized. Ran out this morning to do some last minute gift shopping, entering into the pit of chaos that is a mall parking lot on the day before Christmas. Got back and decided it was far too nice a day to stay inside and I needed a mental cleanse after the shopping trip, so grabbed Luna and took her to the local nature preserve for a walk. It was perfect! The park was nearly empty except for birds dancing in the sky, the sun was shining and the landscape was lush and green (well, you know, desert scrub style lush and green).
Hope you’re all having a wonderful Christmas eve too! I know it can be a crazy, stressful day trying to get last minute things done for tomorrow, but try to take at least a moment to reflect, relax and enjoy the wonderful things around you.
